Skin Treatments from $299

CACI Non- Surgical Face Lift

The CACI treatment targets both the face and the neck using a painless micro current. The unique and patented current employed by the CACI has been shown to communicate with fibres deep in the muscles, helping to restore tone to those too relaxed and “sagging” and to relax those too tight. This process is called muscle re-education and feels like a gentle massage using cotton-tipped probes.

After a treatment, muscles will feel firmer and the skin will have a healthy glow. Our regular clients have reported fabulous benefits such as a firmer jaw line, more defined cheeks, raised eyebrows and fewer lines and wrinkles. In short, a fresher, more radiant and healthy looking appearance.

What is a non-surgical facelift?

It is a non-intrusive electrical faradic current treatment that is applied to the muscles to tone and lift them. The facial skin is different from everywhere else on the body because it is attached to the muscles. When people get jowls or sagging of the facial skin, it is because the muscles have become lazy and tired.

How does it work?

During the non-surgical facelift procedure the clinician, who is highly trained in the knowledge of facial muscles, uses the stimulating treatment to shorten elongated muscles, lengthen atrophied muscles and to tone all the muscles of the face. This lifts the skin back to a more youthful appearance.

How soon am I likely to see a result?

You can look younger and healthier immediately after the first treatment.

Is it safe?

The non-surgical facelift has been around since the mid 1980s in Europe and the most important factor in a clinician using this process is for them to have intimate knowledge of the muscles of the face, so all our clinicians have a biological background. The great thing is that the client doesn’t have to undergo dramatic surgery or anaesthesia which can sometimes be not only dangerous but traumatic to the nervous system.

Our philosophy is if you can do a job more naturally, efficiently and effectively, then that’s the first choice a client can be advised to take.

The non-surgical facelift is also far more affordable than cosmetic surgery and falls within the budget of the majority of people.

How often should I have a treatment?

You will be assessed during your free consultation and we normally recommend an initial 10 to 12 weekly treatments to lift and tone the face, followed by a monthly maintenance visit to keep the facial muscles and skin in great youthful condition.

What age do I need to be to have a non-surgical facelift?

A lot of people can benefit from this procedure from their late 20s to those in their 70s and 80s. For the younger client it is a matter of maintenance and care to keep your face looking good as you age. For the older client this can be a rescue procedure and progressively produces dramatic changes in tired and sagging skin.

Dermal Rolling/Skin Needling

Simple, safe, painless and virtually risk-free treatment of:
  1. Wrinkles and lines
  2. Lack of skin firmness and elasticity
  3. Scarring
  4. Acne and chicken pox scars
  5. Enlarged pores
  6. Sun damage
Skin needling (also knows as Collagen Induction Therapy) is the latest skin renewal technique to restore the healthy youthful appearance of your skin, at a fraction of the cost and with minimal downtime.

Skin needling produces similar results to a factional laser treatment with a much reduced cost, There is also no post-treatment skin sensitivity to UV light.

Skin needling is one of the few skin therapies that is suitable for treating all skin types, including ethnic skin, and which can be used to treat the fragile skin around the eyes, mouth and neck.

How does is work?

The concept of Skin Needling is based on the skin’s natural ability to repair itself whenever it encounters physical damage such as cuts, burns and other abrasions. Immediately after an injury occurs to the skin our body reuses the damaged collagen and elastin fibres as we as other damaged skin components to produce new ones. Skin Needling allows for controlled inductions of the skin’s self repair mechanism by creating micro-“injuries” and the skin which triggers new collage synthesis, yet does not pose the risk of permanent scarring. The result is smoother, firmer and younger looking skin.

Micro-dermabrasion (Particle Skin Resurfacing)

1. What is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is a quick, safe, effective form of exfoliation for all skin types and colours with no downtime and virtually no discomfort. Available in Europe since the late 1980's, microdermabrasion uses inert corundum aluminum oxide mineral microcrystals to remove dead or damaged skin cells. Skin will appear softer, smoother, brighter, clearer, fresher and younger looking.

2. Who can benefit?

Men and women of any skin type or colour. Anyone with aging, congested, flaky, dry, devitalized, thickened, blemished, dull and sun damaged skin will have rejuvenated and refreshed skin. Blotchiness, uneven skin tones and texture will also be improved.

3. What areas can be treated?

The most commonly treated areas are the face, chest, shoulders, back, hands, knees and elbows. Any body area can be treated.

4. Why microdermabrasion?

Approximately every 28 days we create a new layer of skin. As new cells form, they push their way to the surface and dead cells then settle on the surface of the skin. This can cause enlarged or clogged pores, a bumpy, uneven texture, and a dull appearance. As we age, this process slows down leading to the appearance of older skin with less radiance.

5. How does it work?

This gentle exfoliation is performed with a jet of fine mineral crystals passing over the skin’s surface by creating a gentle vacuum. The crystals lay on the skin along with the dead/damaged skin cells. The crystals gently exfoliate approximately 20-25 microns of dead skin cells of the outermost layer, known as the stratum corneum. Once removed, it reveals one’s own fresher, younger looking skin beneath. One microdermabrasion session is roughly equal to three 30% Glycolic acid peels or one 70%.

6. How many treatments do you need?

This treatment is meant to be progressive, not aggressive. Generally results are more noticeable after the 3rd treatment. However, after the first session the skin will appear fresher, cleaner, smoother and softer for most clients. Treatments are usually performed every 2 weeks for a series of 6. Maintenance treatments are suggested once every 4 to 6 weeks. If you are having Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments the usual interval is one 7 – 10 days prior to IPL, followed by 7 – 10 days after the IPL. Microdermabrasion treatments are often done as a series in combination with IPL treatments.

7. How long does it take?

The actual treatment takes 15 – 40 minutes, depending on the area being treated. The treatment is applied to clean skin. Afterwards, a moisturizing sun block is usually applied.

8. Are there any side effects?

Since there is minimal discomfort and no healing time, one can resume normal activities immediately after a treatment. One may experience a slight tingling, and afterwards the skin may feel tighter, as if exposed to the wind or sun. The skin may appear slightly flushed and this generally fades in 12 – 24 hours.

It is very important to NOT TO EXERCISE, where perspiration is created. You will develop a stinging sensation that can take several hours to dissipate.

9. Are there any precautions I should know about?

If you suffer from cold sores, you should be cold sore-free prior to treatment to avoid the risk of spreading the infection. You must also inform the technician if you have or have had any of the following conditions: severe rosacea, dermatitis, skin cancers, bruising tendency, inflamed acne, Hepatitis C and AIDS or HIV infection. Make sure to inform the technician if you are on blood thinners or if you have been on Accutane within the last 6 months.

If you use Tretinoin (e.g. Retin A, Vitamin A Acid, etc.) products or any skin care products that irritate the skin, you should stop them for at least 2 -3 days before your treatment. You may restart 2 – 3 days after your treatment.

Microdermabrasion can safely be performed if you are pregnant or nursing.

If you use tanning beds or like to tan outdoors, it is suggested that you avoid tanning for 2 weeks after a session.

If you are planning to have any injectables such as Botox, Perlane, Restylane or Artecoll, it is recommended that you have them 2 or more days after a Microdermabrasion.

Soli-Tone 2500

At the CACI Clinic we use the Soli-Tone equipment, a safe and effective skin rejuvenation device that uses a combination of light therapy and micro currents to improve sun-damaged skin, blemishes, redness and uneven pigmentation.

Soli-Tone is a multi-function system that offers two treatments: LumiLift and LumiFacial. These technologies work differently, but enhance one another to give immediate and visible results through cellular rejuvenation. They are not like laser or IPL treatments, which use heat to effect activity in the dermis layer. Soli-Tone uses light and micro currents to bring about immediate changes.

LumiLift and LumiFacial are such comfortable and relaxing procedures that many clients fall asleep. The effects of both treatments can be dramatic with immediate improvement evident after the first treatment, although a series of treatments will be recommended: usually 6 to 10 treatments.

You should notice:
  • Increased elasticity of the skin
  • Reduced pore size and refined skin texture
  • Reduced blemishes and acne
The result will be a refreshed, youthful appearance that can last for months after treatment. A maintenance skin care program will be recommended to ensure long-lasting benefits.

This is a fabulous treatment for sagging facial muscles. Two specially designed electrodes are used to introduce micro currents and light to the dermis layer of the skin to activate collagen production. Collagen is vital in skin health and will smoothe and soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reduce enlarged pores and refine the texture of the skin. While the light stimulates cells, the micro currents stimulate and tone sagging facial muscles. The micro currents are not dangerous. They are similar to the body’s own biological currents. Clinical research has shown that such currents are able to improve muscle tone.

A LumiLift treatment finishes by using a special electrode to infuse the skin with an antioxident to ease facial creases.

During a LumiFacial, a wrap-around panel is used to emit light energy specifically required for your skin type and condition. Special products are applied using a sonophoresis to improve the penetration of the products. There is no peeling, redness or discomfort and LumiFacial can be used with other cosmetic procedures such as dermal fillers, laser hair removal, IPL, chemical peels and laser resurfacing. LumiFacial can even be used to treat wounds before and after surgery.

Deluxe Facials

Go on—spoil yourself by having a facial.

Not only will you find yourself completely relaxed during a facial treatment, you will see the immediate results of a revitalised appearance and you will feel great! Having a facial will make your skin will feel light, toned, fresh, bright, clean and simply delicious!

Facials are non-invasive, cosmetic treatments usually directed to the surface of the skin and the underlying facial structures. They offer a massaging effect to ease tension, but also cleanse and tone leaving the skin looking and feeling refreshed.

A facial is ideal as a quick pick-me-up for tired skin and the results are immediately visible. Apart from the pleasant physical feel of a facial, specific problems can be improved through cleansing, hydration and nourishment of the skin. Although the word is ‘facial’, a treatment can also be applied to the neck and décolletage.

Facials may involve gentle massage, cleansing, masks and possibly light peels, depending on the type of facial. You might just want the luxury of feeling pampered, or you may have a specific skin condition you would like to improve, so speak with a trained CACI Clinic therapist who can help you select a facial that is best suited to your individual needs.

Facial Rejuvenation
Using the Intense Pulse light for photo rejuvenation, it is a safe, non-invasive treatment that corrects benign skin conditions such as birthmarks, blemished and photo-aging.IPL Photo Rejuvenation is used to deliver dramatic cosmetic results without a disruption of the skins surface, hence, no down-time.

IPL Photo Rejuvenation treats a wide range of skin conditions including scars, broken capillaries, rosacea, age spots (sun induced freckling) mottled pigmentation, fine lines, acne scarring, large pores.

IPL photorejuvenation can treat a wide variety of skin problems. It can be used to remove red spots or diffuse redness and can help with acne or rosacea. IPL™ treatments can also help to smooth uneven skin texture, close large pores, and eliminate wrinkles by stimulating collagen growth.

Immediately after your treatment, your face will appear slightly red or flushed, but this is completely normal. It will take several hours to a day or so for the treatment’s results to become noticeable. The redness will fade, and you will see improvements more and more. Depending on the condition you are treating, your experience will differ. For example, if you are treating acne with IPL™ photorejuvenation, your skin may remain red for several days before you notice an improvement. If you are seeking to stimulate collagen growth, the redness may disappear sooner, and you will begin to see a smoother skin texture within a few days.

Though recovery from IPL™ photorejuventation is rapid, it is important to keep in mind that sunscreen is vital to ensuring the results of the procedure last as long as possible. Be sure to protect the treated area from the sun for at least a couple of weeks, either by covering the area or wearing strong sunscreen. Speak to your physician about the best way to do this. If the proper steps are taken to maintain the improvements, the results of your treatment may last up to a year or longer.

With so many applications, it is no wonder that many consider IPL™ photorejuvenation to be the most versatile skin treatment available.

What is Blue Light Acne Therapy?

For acne sufferers whose skin has become resistant to ointments and medications, or for those who simply want to eliminate the daily hassles of such acne treatment regimens, blue light acne therapy has become a popular treatment option. Blue light therapy systems, such as ClearLight® and BLU-U®, offer acne treatment that is gentle and non-invasive when used alone or as a part of photodynamic therapy.

The FDA has approved the use of high-intensity, narrow-band blue light to treat mild to moderate acne. This pain-free light is safe and uses no ultraviolet (UV) light or lasers. When blue light is used as a treatment for acne, it kills p. acnes, the acne-causing bacteria that can form within the sebaceous glands and cause break outs. Blue light therapy can be administered alone through several systems that are available such as ClearLight®, or in combination with a topical photosensitizing solution in blue light photodynamic therapy for acne treatment.

Anti-Aging Effects Of LED Therapy

Collagen and elastin are the buzz words in any spa on planet earth. As we age, tan, smoke, wash our face and live within the confines of gravity, they breakdown and we see wrinkles, creases and folds in skin that was once taut. LED therapy can reverse the appearance of aging skin, enlarged pores and crow’s feet with a light wave that penetrates far beneath the surface of our skin without causing any damage. It also pulls collagen to the surface to fill-in lines and wrinkles.

The Cosmetic Benefits Of LED Light Therapy

  • Minimizes the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and crow`s feet
  • Clears blemishes and minimizes pores
  • Improves the appearance of skin tone and texture
  • Restores skin’s natural collagen production
  • Reduces melanin that causes brown spots
  • Reduces the effects of sun-damaged skin
  • Increases circulation and moisture
  • Reduces skin degradation, redness and flushing
  • Decreases scarring, redness, dry patches, itching and sensitivity caused by eczema
  • Stimulates and activates naturally occurring metabolic function and nutritional elements.

Skin Therapies

Medical Peels

Light chemical peels are also known as glycolic acid peels, AHA chemical peels, or salicylic acid chemical peels. Glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that occurs naturally in sugar cane, is the most common ingredient of light chemical peels. The ingredients and formulation of a light chemical peel, however, depend upon the specific patient’s skin care needs. With light chemical peels, the chemical solution is left on the skin for a relatively short amount of time.

When applied to the face or another part of the body, the AHA chemical peel solution works by removing the outer layers of skin so that a new, smooth layer of skin is revealed. The action of the chemical solution stimulates the production of elastin and collagen, essential components of healthy, youthful skin.

Acne Medical Peel

When topical acne medications do not provide satisfactory results, a clearer, healthy-looking complexion may be achieved with a chemical peel for acne or acne scars. An acne chemical peel is performed by applying a chemical solution to the skin. The solution causes the skin to blister and peel over a period of several days. As the treated skin comes off, fresh new skin replaces it. This exfoliation caused by the acne skin peel eliminates or reduces the appearance of acne blemishes and scars. A cne chemical peel treatments provide benefits in addition to acne treatment — they can improve the skin’s pigmentation and make the skin smoother.
